well it probably means nothing but the first thing that hits me in the face is you chose the black version.
I personally wouldn't buy a colored topper; it's all about chemistry; who knows what material that is (especially coming from China - remember lead paint from China?)

Wouldn't that only matter if they actually painted/coated the inside??

the drip tip for this rda is plastic. had no problem in the past with other plastic drip tips. and yes i have used a different plsatic drip tip on this rda and still the same issue

Mine has both tops, Delrin wide bore and 510 adaptor....

How quick are the coils heating when you dry pulse?
Are they both heating evenly?

Honestly, the mechanics of a setup are pretty basic. I have some 30 or so RDA's and just can't foresee an unsolvable issue or a Mechanical Flavor failure............unless tainted by some chemical/flavoring(Bacon/Pickle/ect.) that is difficult to remove.

If your insulators are good and contacts are clean, all that is left is Contamination or build.
