Some people report getting better vapor production by removing one of the top wicks from the coil, (I'm assuming you're using a Kanger coil) have you unscrewed the coil, pulled the center post out of the coil and looked at the coil itself? It could be that your juice is one that rapidly gunks up the coil, affecting your vape production. I don't know if that could have anything to do with overheating though, there are a lot of people here with tons more knowledge than me, hopefully someone with this problem will have a solution.

Had one evod on which the air holes were drilled too low on the base, so the were mostly blocked by the threads on my VV3. Wound up having to chain vape to get anything much out of it, with resultant excessive heat... a 510 to ego thread adapted cured it. Oddly, on other batteries it wasn't a problem. Maybe?

When chain vaping, as I do, the coil can heat the base of the tank and depending on how and where you're holding the VV might be the cause of the heat you're feeling. I've never felt any heat actually coming from the mod on either of my wife's VV V3.

As previously said, you might ought to take this to your B&M and have them check it out.

after messing around with the v3 today some more and am starting to wonder if the tanks are the problem. i have 4 evod tanks, 1 of them wont work at all on the v3, 1 or them was working pretty good, and the other two barley work. i then put some old disposable clearomizer i had ind it worked pretty good. so does the v3 just not like the evod and if so what is a good tank to run on it? any ideas?
