I bought an eGo from one of the reputable vendors on the board. I've noticed both batteries are taking longer and longer to charge. The unit is less than a month old. I use the wall AC charger. The red LED will sometimes flicker to green, then back to solid red. I put a battery on the charger last night at about 8 PM, and it was still red this morning at about 9 AM. I removed the battery from the charger and pressed the button, and it lit up. How do I determine if it is the batteries or the charger? It doesn't seem to me that both batteries would die at the same time, although I suppose it's possible. They are genuine Joye.

I'm afraid I'll buy some real cigs if I can't get this solved. Due to the holidays, I'm afraid it will be at least a week before the batteries/charger could be replaced.

i've had 2 bad wall chargers for my ego's. After cleaning all connections still no good. The wall unit should flicker intermitedly to green when working properly. I did notice the red light on the wall charger was a very faint red. Turned out it was the chargers and not the batts... both vendors replaced them free of charge. I think the order in the way you plug everything together is also important.. First the wall unit, the USB adapter..then the batt...so I was told. So far so good w/ the new chargers...good luck ...let us know the outcome!!

This is my experiences with the ego chargers -

My first ego was a tasty vapors ego knockoff. The ego charger which I used plugged into the wall usb adapter from Tasty Vapor blinked a whole lot and finally after a couple of weeks stayed green and would not charge. I thought the charger was broken and bought a Riva charger (it was cheaper then an ego changer) - it blinked a lot too but charged - but then - by chance I plugged it into my PC and it only blinked a little bit. I pulled out my old Tasty Vapor ego charger that I thought was broken and plugged it into my pc and it blinked a lot - but would charge.

I bought a wall adapter from Mad Vapes that said it was strong enough to run a 5 volt passthrough - and both chargers work with it and blink less then when plugged into my pc.

I am thinking these fast ego/riva chargers need a lot of power in order to charge (and some chargers more then others) and some usbs ports don't give them quite as much as they really need - when they are getting enough to charge - but not quite all they need to work at maximum - they blink.

I have no idea if this is true - it is just a theory I came up with based on these observations of my chargers.
