I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem with their tank? After I finish my juice up and I try to refill it by twisting off the bottom, it's Wayyyy too tight. I even try to run it over hot water and twist it off but it's too tight. I've had to use tools just to get it off and it's scratching my tank. Has anyone had the same problem or have any suggestions?
Not Me, and I have 3 Lemo's and 2 Drops, ALL of the Original version. Sounds like either you Over Tightened the base section OR cross threaded the base section. Now that said, I always have to tighten the base section up with a little extra umph or else my resistance reading will be off by 0.1 or 0.2, usually higher than it should be, meaning if I put the bottom section (510 base) on normally I might have a 1.5 ohm reading, but, if I then put a little extra twist on the base my reading will drop to 1.3 at the most. This is NOT a rule as ALL things Chinese are differently made with different tolerances, I get the impression that they constantly adjust/re-adjust the equipment during their production runs as I've seen a pic of one with a Smooth 510 pin (No threads to screw into the Atty). I can see where the base section could get cross threaded due to manufacturing sloppiness between the base and body sections, on a couple of mine screwing the base on IS sometimes a tedious affair at times as they just don't want to line up just right. I still use my screws to Fill/Re-Fill, I've just never tried that little silicone plug, as the screw has never failed me. Hope you can get it all figured out.
P.S. YES, the Top/Bottom chimney sections are a PITA to get apart sometimes and just what Roxy said, a light touch works alot better, but all in all I really like the Lemo.
