Made some twisted Kanthal out of 34 gauge

Like the title says, I actually used 6 stands and twisted it really tight. Made a single coil for one of my tanks and its a Great vape. Cool, very cool actually and Very dense =)) Anyone else tried something like this before???

I've tried that with 4 strands of 34 gauge before. It actually behaved like 30 gauge at that point. Not a bad vape. But a bit more work for a 30 gauge wick quality vape. I would imagine 6 strands would behave like 28 or 29 gauge. The good thing about twisted is that it does give you more surface area on the coil to vaporize the juice. But 34 gauge, being so thin, it really didn't produce a significant result over the thicker gauge wire.

Its similar to a 29 gauge, but I get more vapor and more flavor out of it.

I use 28g kanthal and use 2 strands. One coil is usually around .6 for a 7/6 wrap

I have a triple twisted 32, 28 gauge, 24 gauge and 22 gauge as well as the 6 strands of 34. I got bored one day lol

I triple twist 30 and now sticking to double twisted 28. The 28g is rougher and vapes very well and excellent flavor.
