Hi there..I just ordered the following LorAnn flavors and I need some advice regarding (1) their safety and (2) the percentages to be used. Please note that I mix my liquids at 65% PG

Butterscotch
Caramel
Cinnamon roll
Praline and cream
Banana cream

I started DIY with LorAnn's as well. I have found they vape a bit "wet". i am using about 15 - 20% flavoring in my first round of "tester" batches. Someone told me that was a bit high for LorAnn's, so my next round I stuck around 10%. They were better, not so "wet" but not as good as the one's I was buying from my local shop who mixes his own juice.
I ordered a bunch of flavors from FlavorsWest & TPA so we'll see if there is a difference. From my understanding, LorAnn's is "oil based" in a PG base, therefore, with my chef background, I take it that the oils may vape a little on the "wet" side. And I am pretty sure the guy I mentioned above used Flavor West for his juice.

Have you made any batches yet? If so, tell us how they turned out!

Actually I'm barely starting to mix my own juices and this will be my first try with Loranne. I've been using FA so far (mainly their RY4, and will soon do a batch of cappuccino) and they're pretty good and very concentrated (I use 5% only). What I know so far from reading through ECF and other places is that Loranne oils are not really oil based (well maybe a few flavors they have are oil based) but mostly they are soluble in water. I am not so sure about the concentration to shoot for though. I read a review here of their butterscotch that someone made, and he started with 10%, but after steeping it he recommends starting at 5%.

I'm still doing my homework and will keep you posted

Took me a while to get to them because of work commitments, but I have 10 ml Butterscotch 60% PG, 5% flavor in the UC as I write this. Should be able to test it by tomorrow and get back to you. My next attempt will be cinnamon swirl with caramel or maybe with banana cream :)

OK..just did a trial batch (10 ml) of butterscotch..5% flavor, 60% PG and 12 mg nicotine..tested it in a kayfun 3.1 with a 1.6 ohm coil after steeping it for 5 hours in UC and letting it breath for about 12 hours. Not bad actually..I will test it in other atties over the next couple of days but my initial impression is that I will try the second batch at 7% flavor.
