Help with Mini Protank 2 and Ego Twist

My ego twist battery was working fine with my manger pro tank (2.5 ohms) but all of the sudden it started blinking 10 times and didn't work anymore. When I changed it to the standard ego battery it worked fine again. What does the blink mean?
Also what is the best voltage I can use with my pro tank 2?

Typically, it blinks when the battery cut-off is reached and the battery needs to be recharged. There is also a short-circuit protection in the event an atomizer you are using has a short. I've never had that problem, so I'm not sure what the battery would do, but I would guess that if your battery is charged, then you have a short in your atomizer and need to change the coil.

Check this thread seem like a safety feature or safety mode. Charger for 8+ hours and ok.
