Help with modding!

I am looking for another distributor other then Madvapes for mod parts. I like madvapes, but I am looking to make my first mod and just wanted to look around at everything that's out there. Is there another decent modd supplier out there. Also, second question, is where can I find easy to understand directions for different mods? I understand the basics, but when it come's to "Regulators" and all that other electronical stuff my head is in the clouds! Any help with this would be awesome!

There are circuit component vendors. There are enclosure vendors. Madvapes is the only one-stop shop for all mod parts to build a complete mod that I'm aware of. Their stock is limited, as far as diversity of regulators, switches and enclosures go. It's to be xpected, tho, as it would be quite an investment to provide too many options.

You'll need to understand some of the values you're looking for when shopping for regulators, pots, switches, etc.

I'm nowhere near the knowledge of some other modders on this site, so I've gleened some info from the modders section. Overall, I've been quite succesful with Madvapes VV circuit. It works well with whatever atty/carto (incl. DCs) I've thrown at it.

Don't be so fast to write-off one of the most, if not THE most, comprehensive e-cig vendors we have.

Thanks for your help, However was by no means a write off of madvapes. I have been a customer of there's for some time, was just curious to see what else is out there for parts.

I don't know about the other molders but the only thing I get from Madvapes are the connectors. Everything else from Ebay, Radioshack and other online electronic suppliers, a VV mode can be as simple as this with two batteries, a box, a connecter, and a switch.

Nothing against Madvape, they are great, just that after the first mod you start looking for new ideas.

I second goodprophets and madvapes. But I keep my eyes open in various places like Goodwill, hardware stores, toy stores, you name it, letting my imagination run free. You might want to watch some of my youtube videos, I try to help as best as I can. You can get most of the parts you will need from Digikey, Newark or Mouser. However MadVapes is probably the best source for connectors/adapters. +1 on the Easy OKR-T VV mod it was my first and I haven't soldered in years.

If you want to stay 'local' with your part supplies, you can always build a Puck or 2, or 3, or ...
