Hey everyone, so I'm really new to vaping (I just got my Ego earlier this week).

I'm wondering if what I have going on with mine is normal or if I need to do something to fix it. The vapor lately seems to be very dry and almost hurts my throat. I refilled the cartridge with more e liquid, but that didnt fix anything really. It also seems like I'm having to refill the eliquid entirely too often.

Anyway, I don't know all the abbreviations and such, but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Somewhere out there
A cartomizer (Carto) is a metal tube filled with polyfill that holds about 1 ml of juice, it is very reliable and after you fill it with 20-25 drops of ejuice, let it set for 10 min, then vape on it it gives a nice hit. You do need to top them off with about 3 drops of ejuice or so after about 10 puffs or so.
A clearo is a plastic container with wicks inside, you fill it with e juice and let set about 10 min before vaping. These work best full, you have to twirl them a bit to get juice on wicks, they can be a bit fiddly. But taste is usually very good.

You can just go to any vendor and search cartomizer (you need 510 single coil for ego) and search Clearomizer, you need ego threads which most are. Have fun trying new delivery systems :) bnrk

I would get a good clearomizer, depending on what kind of juice you want to vape will depend on the clearo you get. If you like cinnamon or citrus juices then get a glass clearo, otherwise an evod or an iclear is a good choice. The tanks definitely have a lot to do with the juice delivery and the way things taste to you. Also, drink lots of water, vaping can dehydrate you quickly.

You might be after a CE4, 5 or 6 type clearomizer, they have a wick system that does require regular maintance like cleaning of the wicks and coil inside. They are IMO choice of a newbie, easy to get and not all that expensive to "learn" on and fit right onto your ego battery.
The EgoC I assume your talking about is a bit of a pain in the azz cause the little tank but its the atomizer(the pointy thing) that gets dirty and gunked up and be cleaned, the tanks wear out quite quickly from the constant pulling out and back in from refilling so you have to have a bunch onhand at all times. The atomizer really isn't that hard to take apart and clean. Youtube is a valuable asset in learning how to clean those egoC atomizers or any aspect of e-cigs. But once you get more and more comfortable with he whole vaping experience you will graduate to other methods of delivery and better power supplies(Provari). I'm just over 6 weeks and thinking about upgrading from my CE clearomizers to other kinds of tanks. Before you overwhelm yourself with new more complicated systems learn on basic setups and go from there. Knowledge is your best weapon with this new experience.
