HELP with my k100

Hi guys,

I just ordered a Nimbus clone and it says that it was 510 threaded, but when I try to screw the atty onto my mod it looks like the atty thread post is smaller than my k100 threads. I read somewhere about the k100 having sliding +contact in the threads but I am unsure how that works. Any help would be great, thanks!!

Take off the telescopic part, then screw the atty onto it, then screw the telescopic part back onto the mod/battery.

I have done that and i still get the same results.
