Help with Nemesis clone

I recently purchased what I thought was a hcigar Nemesis clone from a vape shop in San Diego. I also picked up a Kayfun Lite clone from the same shop. I removed the atomizer from my mod to refill it and as I was screwing it back on I pulled the threads out of the mod. W.T.F!?!? I was looking at the box that it came in and it has the train logo on the top left and says "Nemesis" underneath it. I was under the impression that the hcigar clones have "hcigar" printed on them where mine says "Nemesis". I didn't pay attention as I was buying it, like a dunce. Does it sound like I got a Chinese knockoff instead of an HCigar knockoff? Where can I get the replacement part with the top threads? Please help, I am stuck on the road for work and am without anyway to vape, I really don't want to breakdown and get a pack of analogs after 6 months of being smoke free...

Just wondering, are you saying when the atomizer was being screwed back in, you yanked it out in the direction perpendicular to the thread direction? if so I'm not even sure I would try to buy a replacement part for a clone. I have a nemesis clone and it can be a pain. My advice would be save up for a nice mechanical mod. Or even a DNA 20/30 if you wanted battery regulation along with a lot of variation in power.

A lot of manufacturers make a nemesis clone. Hcigar being the most popular. The Hcigar Nemesis doesn't say Hcigar on it anywhere. It has the angel engraving on the front and the word "Nemesis" on the back as well as a serial number. The button also has the train logo and the name "Atmomixani" engraved. Atmomixani are the makers of the authentic Nemesis all others are knockoffs. All of the Nemesis clones I have seen have these engravings. It would be hard to tell which clone you have. I have never heard of the 510 threads pulling out.

What I mean is, I was screwing the Kayfun onto the Nemesis and as I tightened it down, instead of getting tighter, it pulled the threads out of the Nemesis. I wasn't wrenching it down really hard either, I was using my bare hands and I wasn't putting my arms and back into it. It got tighter, then suddenly really loose. I was very careful not to cross thread it and I was immensely disappointed as I had just gotten it. I did some searching and I found some people saying that there were Chinese knockoffs going around and the boxes were different. I thought this might be the case. All I would need is the top contact piece and it would be fixed. I should also mention that it is a solid brass clone and that may speak to the weaker threads when coupled with poor QC. I was thinking of just replacing the whole thing with a HCigar Nemesis clone with the top threads in stainless and mixed brass and stainless for the rest. I've heard really good things about the HCigar Nemesis mod. Is that not the case? Is VapeRoyalty.com the official site to get them from?

There is only a train engraved on the button on the bottom, nothing else. "Atmomixani" is not etched on it anywhere. I was talking about the box that it came in having "HCigar" written on it, not the mod itself. I knew I was getting a clone, I just thought it was a HCigar clone.

101 Vape When it's in stock always great prices for most clones and shipping is stateside. I have the HCigar Nemmy and all it has is the train logo on the bottom and the "angel" on one side "nemesis" on the other and a random serial number under that. From what you explained sounds like its an HCigar. I haven't had any luck finding reasonably priced top cap replacements.

First off talk to someone where you got it. I have a Neme clone from FT and it is really a great mech. You just may have gotten a lemon. Also HCigar is a cheap Chinese knockoff company as well so just know that they also make some turds. I have seen people saying that their clones are the best, but I have also seen a couple of people detailing poor quality on their products. It is the nature of mass producing for the cheapest price. No or minimal quality control and shortcuts involved. I know the threads on my clone look to be press fit into the end. If it's crap anyway, try to press them back in.

I read your thread hoping to provide you with some helpful insight.... but the 510 threads coming off the top cap are pretty much an end all be all. I am sorry to hear this, I purchased a known Nemesis clone but examining my top cap I don't see how my threads could be removed without the actual top cap and threaded section snapping.

In an effort to even entertain that maybe you were speaking of the black delrin on the underside I removed my atty and pulled on my positive pin with genuine force to no avail.

I hate to suggest it but see if you can pick up some ciga-likes or hopefully there are Vape Shops in the area. If you are in dire need and unable to find those two options viable check out the PIF sub-forum...any vape is better than going back to traditional cigarettes but if that is your only option no need to feel guilty.

Good luck and I hope it turns out well.

I also ordered my clone from FT but after removing the air flow ring it looks like the 510 threads are actually tapped into the top cap not an insert or sleeve. Maybe I am wrong but years of tapping threads and reapiring heli-coils for aircraft tend to say no....

Yes, the threads are tapped in but I could, in theory, replace that entire top piece that is threaded. When I say that the threads came out, I mean that they were sheared off. So, the Nemesis threads have been completely stripped out.

AH! makes much more sense. Before I ordered the Nemesis clone I noticed a number of people calling attention to the threads stripping or cross-threading their atomizer 510 threads... this just forced me to take extra care when installing or removing any atomizer.

Are you limited to only one atomizer or RBA on hand?

I bought my Nemi Hcigar clone from VapeRoyalty, fast great service. 101vape didn't carry it at the time I bought mine.

If any one is looking for the magnet switch upgrade, and or the extended center pin for there mods, and some decent batteries, Fatdaddy vapes carries a good selection.

Quick shipping decent prices. Can finally use the Nemi with the kick beauty ring without the kick.

I got mine from 101vape and the box is like yours. Has the train and says nemesis not hcigar. I had contacted them and asked if they were really from hcigar. They told me they order direct from them so i bought 1. they should be getting tim in soon and for 29$ ill probably grab another 1. i also have 1 coming from fasttech to compare quality. might hold on to it or i might sell it.

I have a tubetank setup with a 510 connection around but no extra RBAs or RDAs. I think if I get another Nemesis clone I will get it in stainless steel and mix and match the brass and stainless pieces and I would be sure to use the stainless piece with the 510 collection to avoid stripping the threads on the softer brass. That way my atomizer and Nemesis will be stainless steel on stainless steel.

Greetings, sorry to hear about your bad experience. Below is a picture of the box that my HC Nemesis clone came in, I've seen these same boxes pictured on the HC website.

It wouldn't surprise me to hear to that someone has 'cloned' the HC clone, trying to make a quick buck. As your results probably show, the result isn't pretty. My Nemesis clone is rock solid, and has withstood some abuse without any problem.
