TLDR for those that hate long posts--->
Looking for a nice higher end mod for vaping. Doesn't have to be extreme wattage. Understand using a mod with more than one 18650 needs to be a married pair but I'm happy with higher end mods using one battery. Not looking at mechs and only looking to use regulated devices. Will be only vaping around .4 ohms and higher.

Full story:
Thanks to my Knager sub ohm tanks I've really enjoyed vaping and its kept me off tobacco now for longer than I have ever been. However, went into my local store (and the other two in town also) and all they had were the new Kanger SSOCC 0.5 ohms. These things suck so bad. Air flow is restricted, not enough vapor as previous vert coil, and have to use higher wattage to get decent flavor. So Ive got into rebuilding and been building some coils practicing for when a get a new device because my Kangers will be my on the go device but my RDTA Steam Crave will be my sit and chill vape.

I'm looking on something higher end >$100 (lower if reviews are good on the device and its longevity) and as long as it's 60 watts or higher it'll be fine. I honestly don't care about temp control cause I'm using kanthal (read that dna200 devices can only regulate kanthal temps) and after checking and reading up on my ohms law I know my 20A and 25A 18650s are fine as long as I don't get to around .35 ohms but I'm perfectly ok and happy with that.

I've read the precautions when using regulated mods that use more than one battery and know it needs to be a married pair/set bought fresh and charged together and only used in that device.

I've seen a few that caught my eye like the lava box, sigelei 150 tc mod (saw this online for less than $80 but local store is selling at full msrp of $130 ), and I few others.

My thing is I don't need 200 watts, don't know if anyone really does, but I do know using paired 18650s gives you more battery life so that's really whatever. I carry my extra batteries in a case so that's not a big issue.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really happy with my Smok Koopor Plus 200W for vaping at 10W around the house. It has a two day battery life at 10W and costs about $49 from VaporDNA (link below). I've never been one to spend more than I had to for a mod (except for the Provari V2), but I usually like what I buy and I hold out for the features I want.

Here's a list of modern mods in one place. It's fairly recent, but there's no high priced state of the art mods, but most are $100 or under.

Vape NorthWest has some of the best prices I've seen. It's worth a look before buying to see if they have what you want.
