Pulled on it to hard it sounds like and it flooded...obviously. Mtl vs lung hit are usually the same when it comes to the amount of pull you want to put behind it. The only thing that is different is whether you keep the vapor in your mouth before you inhale the vapor or you pull straight through to your lungs then exhale if that makes sense. Hope this helps.

Edit: Also lung hits typically are longer draws than a mtl hit is because you are basically trying to fill your lungs to capacity or whatever you feel is a comfortable level to you.

Hi again guys. I have switched to my original lemo and been using it for a couple hours mouth to lung. Great, no leaking. Perfect. Then I thought id try a lung hit just for the fun of it and it drunk 2-3 ml in like 4 puffs and started leaking out of the airholes. Anyone know whats going on?
Also I was thinking...did you put the rubber plug on the bottom where you fill? Sometimes some people forget to put that back on after filling and end up with a mess.

Hey @kaahn. Thanks. I don't know whats going on. I havn't used it for ages and so forgot the little oring around the top chimney bit. I put this on but still the same. I've watched loads of vids, used more cotton like rip trippers did and still the same. I've checked every oring but still the same. Mine has two? rubber orings on the bottom for some reason. I've tried just one, both, new screws, diff cotton. Loosened and tightened airflow. No matter what the mouth hits are fine. Soon as I lung hit it breaks down. I really like the aesthetics of them but feel I should move on and find another tank. Drippers are so much easier. BTW I ve used both screw and little rubber plugs on fill hole....

Hi guys. I posted the same question yesterday but only one answer. I've gone back to my lemo and mouth hits are fine. Perfect. As soon as I lung hit it drinks all my juice in like 4 hits then leaks through the holes. Ive tested all my orings, the fill hole, tighter and looser air flow, new builds, new cotton, more cotton, less cotton. No matter what I do, it floods when I lung hit. Any ideas??

Possibly more power will help , you could be drawing in too fast when lung hitting.

@Zutankhamun You say two rubber orings at the bottom for some reason? You should have a total of 4 orings. One around the chimney(small black oring), one under the top cap(clear), one around the bottom build deck(clear), and the rubber fill plug under the base. Could you clarify what you mean by 2 rubber orings at the bottom for some reason?

Hey @kaahn Havn't checked forum for a couple days. I have no rubber plug under the base. I use the screw generally. I Had two thin clear rubber orings around the build deck and nothing at the top. This is how the official tank was setup when I bought it. I have put one of the thin orings under the top cap and left one around the base, and the small oring around the chimney. I have one spare (clear) oring in the box and its really chunky and the topcap and chimney wont screw together because it is so thick. so I do not worry about that one. Do I need to use the rubber fill plug as well as the screw? Thank you

I use the fill plug ring instead of the screw. Lose the screw and use the fill plug ring only. The screw has a tendency to rust and besides it's just so much easier to use the fill plug ring. You can tell the fill plug ring because one side has a protruding rubber stopper on one side. Make sure the rubber stopper sits inside the fill hole then screw the bottom piece on. As far as the other ring that came with your setup...the thick one...I don't know. I know the tank came with several replacement rings so if its to thick and won't allow your top cap screw completely down just save it for a replacement if you should need it. So just to be clear. You have a rubber oring at each end of the glass tube, one under the top cap and one around the base. And you have a small black oring around the top part of the chimney underneath its threads. Also the fill plug ring under the base. You should be golden. I don't know why you received the tank with the rings in the position they were in but it was obviously wrong. You should be cookin' with Wesson once you get it wicked up. If you have any more problems tag me up. Cheers!

I'm wondering about the extra thick spare o-ring. They generally come with 2 spare o-rings, the ones that go at the top and bottom of the glass. Are you sure it isn't 2 stuck together?

Other than that it sounds like you have it set up right now. If you didn't have an o-ring at the top of the glass then it would leak like crazy because you wouldn't have a good vacuum. Has it got better since you moved one of the orings from the bottom to the top?

Hey @englishmick are you English like me but live in Indianapolis? Yeah I rebuilt it changed it all around and it still floods when I lung hit. Its fine when I mtl so i'm not sure. I can't wait for my drop now though hopefully it will have no problems. The drop has been ordered from eleafworld so it will be fine. I can't remember where I acquired the original. Do you know how I would check its authenticity? Thanks

Yup, I'm English. Been here for 25 years.

As far as I know there haven't been any fake Lemos. They aren't really worth cloning as cheap as they are. I hope the Lemo works better. I've got both types myself and haven't had many problems. I still think your leak must be caused by not having a vacuum. I don't see how though if you have all the seals in place. Good luck with the Drop.

I did read about someone who had a similar problem once. Turned out there was a small chip on one end of the glass. He didn't notice it at first. It was just big enough to let air in past the o-ring.
