Howdy,
But really could spend all day saying this is better then that, but in reality I can't recall a mid range atomizer that does not have adjustable airflow for a reason. The industry realizes that not everyone likes the same thing (This came about 2-3 years ago) and any quality atomizer will have adjustable airflow.
The Mutation X shouldn't be shelved but rather taken off and played with (You can put a regular 510 DT in the Wide bore DT if you like, I prefer using just a reducer ring/stubby DT for this).
Flavor increases with decreased airflow, to a point. What I'm saying is when you get 100% flavor then there is no way to get 101% or above. Basically decrease airflow until flavor stops intensifying and you've reached peak on that game.
Not everyone that Sub Ohm's cloud chases and not ever cloud chaser likes large airflow mods. This is a connect the dots assumption, I know lots of cloud chasers that pick up their Russian 91% with airflow locked out and vape happily away, every now and then its nice to have your heads in the clouds but its good to be on the ground as well.
I do however like mods that have the options to go both ways, if I want a large airflow cloud maker then I've got it, but at a twist I can go back down to my happy median point or lower. Price wise why have 2 mods when you can have 1 that does the work of both, this just makes sense to me really when I'm trying to slim down on my vape budget (I own a Mutation X v2 but with a simple twist of the top cap I can restrict it down to lighter then my igo-w stock, and its set-up for single coil if I want to restrict it even further).
Anyways, not saying that anyone in this is wrong or right, just saying that with todays options there is no reason to point out that not everyone likes the same vape as we already know that, and so does the industry at large.
