Ok so I bought this Provape off someone on the forum came with no batts no biggie so I ordered 2 14500 batts from Madvapes Ultrafire 14500 900 MaH 3.6 volts. Anyways these batteries/mod are very disappointing. My Riva battery with Boge lr cartos last me 5-6 hours same cartos on the Provape only last about 2.5 hours. Which confuses me considering the batterys are bigger. Did I get the wrong batteries or am I just expecting to much from them? Thanks for any help.

Well the batteries aren't really bigger.

Here's a UF14500 tested for mAh at a rather modest .8A draw.

Only 592mAh. TrustFires (the Flames test at out at about ~700mAh) are a better choice over the Ultrafires. For LR, especially with a single 14500 the IMR's make sense, but don't expect significantly longer vapetimes, some slightly higher initial volts though. If you are primarily a LR vaper you should have gone for a larger battery mod.

Provape suggests the use of High Drain AW IMR batteries. The Provape has built in discharge protection, and so do the Ultrafire batteries. More than likely something is causing the protection circuit to kick in early.
I just looked I saw no such suggestion, and the batteries they supply in their kits are just standard 14500s.

I'm still playing with attys and cartos so far for attys I like 2.2-2.4. I just started using cartos a couple days ago and so far have tried out a LR boge and 3 ohm boge. Both seem to last longer on my Riva batterys. Will try some other batterys though to see how that goes. Waiting on a GGTB to come in so I can try out my AW 17670. Again thanks for all the imput Knowledge is power.
