Hello, it's me again, I was just wondering if there is a guide anywhere that explains to me most of the facts of the vapes we use.

If possible, I would like information on battery types, different voltages, what fits with what parts and so forth. I currently have an EGO type with a CE4, its only a cheap copy battery I think, but it works great.

Any help would be appreciated, as in my other thread, you can tell I am completely new, but wish to learn more.

Regards, Conan.

My head was spinning the first few days here :)

The ego (and many others) are stick batteries, keep using and charging them up until they eventually die. Normally they have a 510 thread (inner thread where the charger and some toppers attach) and an ego thread (outer thread for ego threaded toppers). Available in different sizes, a 650mah battery should last 6.5hrs (ish) 800mah 8hrs (ish) etc.

If you step up the ladder you can buy vv stick batteries (variable voltage) such as the twist or spinner. Or my nice shiny new toy the iTaste V3 (vv/vw, variable voltage/variable wattage, awesome btw).

If you start getting shiny syndrome you will want something with replaceable batteries, and a very forgiving wallet! This is where you tumble down the rabbit hole :) into to the land of tube mods, box mods and mech mods.

the toppers (go by many names) is the bit that holds the liquid your basic choice is a clearomizer or cartomizer and have either a ego or 510 thread. You can also test a few drops of new liquid in a dripping atomizer (basic 510 with a drip tip)

Top coil clearomizer which have a coil (heating elements and wick) at the top (your ce4) or a bottom coil (which I prefer) the head/coil is at the bottom (like an evod). Some are made of plastic, some glass/pyrex. You can also buy dual coils and if you are a tinkerer learn to re-wrap/re-wick your own. Not all clearomizers have replacable heads/coils and the clearomizer will be trash after a few fills. The replacable heads are usually 1.8ohms (low resistance) - 2.8ohms(standard resistance).

I've always been happy with the bottom coil clearomizer but if they are not to your liking, you can find loads of info for cartomizers on the forum.
