I just picked up the UWell Crown and some Frisco Powell which is a 40PG/60VG juice. I really want to like this tank because the build and design is awesome but I'm having problems. I am running the original .25 dual coil that came in the package and no matter what I do this thing spits juice into my mouth every time. Not the hot burning juice...just some splatter of juice on my tongue I guess like it is flodded. I have tried high wattage, low wattage, removing the tank and burning off the excess juice, refilling from top and bottom. The only thing that somewhat works is closing down the airflow to the second to smallest hole while jacking up the watts to 90 and that is just not satisfying at all. A tight & hot draw. I am running it on a Sigelei 150w.

Is it just a bad coil or is there some trick to filling this thing so that it doesn't flood?

In my experience with this tank, it likes 80vg and higher. Below that it starts to wick to fast and gets just enough over saturation that it spits. When that happens turn up the watts or close airflow a little.

I also use a q tip and put it down the drip tip into the coil to soak up a little juice. But I mainly only do 80-100vg in my Crown so I haven't had any problems unless I leave it sitting for a few days then the first few hits will spit and pop.

Mine used to do that because I would always forget to close the air control completely before refilling. Make sure your coil is snug, not tight where it is hard to unscrew, and close off the ring when filling. Take it apart and clean it well, put it back together, close off the air and fill from the top. I believe the instructions that come with it tell you to close off the air too
