help with VGO battery

Vgos havent really been on the market long. I DO know that with my egos I have had to throw an atty on em, fire em up a sec, then put back on charger to get them to start charging right...kinda quirky, but it is what it is.

Oddly-I have 1 vgo batt that requires me to push the button to start it charging.............try it. I did it by accident and it worked (originally thought it was a dead batt), and it certainly can't hurt.

One more idea. I suspect that juice may have gotten past the atty and into the battery crown. Clean the battery threads, crown and the flat pin inside the crown. Preferably with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip, but in a pinch, I have used vodka and a paper towel twirled up into a pointy shape (to clean inside the crown). I have had the same prob and this works.

hey o!

I have a VGO set that I got as a gift, so I'm not sure where it came from.. My problem is, one of the batteries has stopped charging. It just sits on the charger and never turns green. It doesn't charge either, so it's not a 'light color' thing.

Any ideas..? I'm LOVING this thing.. works great with my drip tip, and I'm down to one!

Mine takes all night to charge - Use the charger that it came with because the circut is different than other ego's. The light on my charger is red and turns green when done. The light on the battery doesn't change. Make sure its clean - I take a Q tip with alchohol and clean the battery before charging. Have not had any problems with the 2nd one Don from breezesmokes sent me. The first one would only keep a charge for 4 hrs... The second one keeps it all day..

(I guess it could be the 808 version of the big battery ecig. I have been using it with my 901 driptip).

It is like the ego however the connections are reversed so you have to use their specific charger or you will kill the battery. Mine came from breezesmokes...

Leanne, I was browsing the supplier forum and found that Analog Alternative carries a Kanger 650mah V-Go. I wrote to them to ask if it was a kr808d-1 and they said it was.

Yes Lois, the vgo and the kr808 share the same thread pattern. I have personally tested kr808 cartomizers on the vgo battery and vice versa, additionally I have used the USB passthrough from a kr808 on the vgo carts all with success.

I got mine (just like the one in the pic-and NOT kanger made-from Modern vapor as the lux. Same thing. Same charger.
