Help With VTC4

I bought 2 Sony VTC4s from my local shop. I am a little worried they are not the real deal. I looked at my friends VTC4 and his gap is smaller. I enclosed a few pics if anybody can verify. I have read the Sun Vapors post and it appears these are not legit. Just want some extra eyes before I go back and chuck these at the employees at the store and make a big scene.

At first I thought the groove at the positive end was too big, but I think you had light from the top, in which case that groove is probably good. I can't see anything else that looks any different from mine.

I looked at a few others on images and the spacing seems far apart on that first pic.
