I have the Xhaler setup for 5v vaping and that works fine. I am interested in ordering the correct battery and spacer to work at 3.7v - I find that cartos burn up a little too fast when I vape at 5v.

I already have a variety of batteries for different mods:
Little Chuck - 3.7v Trustfire 16340's which are short like the rcr123a's
Protege - 3.7v Tenergy 14500 900 mAH (resemble AA)
Xhaler - 3.0 rcr123a's

Will any of these work to get me to 3.7v on the Xhaler and which spacer would I need to buy?

Thanks for your help!

The single batteries Drew now carries would be ideal for battery life. There is also this dummy/spacer CR123A Size Dummy Cell - 0 Voltage for Flashlight spacer DUMMY-CR123A which will let you use your TrustFire 16340's in the XHaler. Drew no longer carries these, but they were part of the original XHaler package.

Actually I dont reccomend these anymore as they were lackluster in performance and caused some heat issues that I wasnt comfortable with...Thanks though...Yu DA man...

Damn, good to know. I still have not updated to the single battery for 3.7, but then again, I never used 3.7v anyway. I think I may have to try those 17670's with cartos as JustSayHuh was saying to see if I get better taste.

Just to recap on this and make sure I'm correct.

If I want to vape at 6v/5v, I can get 2 16340s.

I'd probably only use an XHaler for 6v/5v, but I already have a bunch of 18350s, which are 3.7v. These won't work for 3.7 without a spacer, which isn't recommended?

Thanks!

No MCL,
2 x 16430 will give you 7 to 8 volts...2 RCR123 will give you 5 to 6 volts and the 17670 (single battery) willl give you 3.7 Volts...The other batteries you mention will not work at all....Thanks

So I have the xhaler on the way to accompany my many other cigs and vaps. I am curious though, as there is SO much talk of batteries and thier numbers and the compatibility with the xhaler...so here is what I want to know. There is a list of batteries I have found with the model also, as it is stupid to say CR2 when it can be a button or a normal battery. SO, the webpage was not very specific...I did get the 2-3.0V batteries and charger that come with it...now the battery size question...

I need the size of the 3 and 3.7 V batts this XHALER takes. The 3.7V is a protected model (17670). I have read that the 3.0V batt is a CR123a...is this true? Here is my question; is the CR123a much different than the 3.0V-CR2 (15270)?

I have a Super Six, which takes 3.7V (14500) and 3.0V-CR2 (15270). As far as I know, none of these batteries will work in the other device? I hope not, it would really suck to have to buy 4 news sets of batteries to keep these running...

Hi Bill,
Unfortunatley you are correct...The Cr2s are different as well as the other 14500...However the 17670 batts are protected and will last much longer than the 14500 batt and our LiFePo4 CR123 3 Volts are much safer technology and are 750 Mah which last longer than the Cr2 batts as well... Thanks for trusting us with your business and I hope you enjoy your Xhaler...
