This is a new Z-atty with factory mesh & coil. I get the coil evened out so all glow, put the cap on with hole lined up and.....
barely anything, just a little vapor. Take the cap off and the coils are not all glowing again. I've done this a dozen times, always turns out the same. Fix the coils, put on the cap. Take off the cap, fix the coils.....

I'm careful putting the cap on so it doen't touch the coils/wick (I think) as Ii put it on. Provari reads it as 2.0 and I'm running it at 4.2.

I do have juice in it. Seems tobe wicking fine. I'm running through juice.

Yeah, this is my first rba.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Had to learn how to upload!

This is after I put on the cap and take it off. And this is a good one.... Yes...lots of vapor.

Can you post pics of the coil?

Does it seem to make a decent amount of vapor with the top cap off?

I does look like there is a hot spot in the second coil down. Is that ribbon kanthal? I would rewrap the coil getting the ribbon to lay as flat as possible against the wick without it being too overly tight.

I have also noticed with ribbon wire on a Z-atty and the Provari it takes a second for the coil to start working with a cold start. I tend to fire for a second before I start the inhale to help alleviate the lag time.
