Hi All

Have been vaping on my 510Riva fir about 3 weeks now, before which I had a 901.

Just recently I have explored mixing flavours.

I bought some 24mg unflavoured vg and mixed it with some glycerine (with 10% water) and added flavours. I am now finding that vaping seems to irritate my throat more and can cause me to cough after about 15-20 puffs. This only seems to happen on my mixed ejuice.

Did i do something wrong?

Any help appreciated thanks.

I wish I knew a little more about mixing but I can say that I have quite a difference in throat comfort depending on VG or PG mixture and in my case I do NOT like PG so much and it will make me cough or my throat feel a little 'scratchy' sort of aggravated.
Not as much as tobacco but more than a heavy VG.

In your case maybe it is 'VG' that rubs you the wrong way.

I might mention that I tried some Menthol (which I do like in theory) but wow that really punched my throat and aggravates some coughing and that one was VG!

Seems to be some real mixing wizards here. I will sit back and listen. I'm sure you get good suggestions/solutions here.

Too much VG gives me too much phlegm....dunno how to describe but I've done it, and my phlegm is clear but present when I go 100 percent VG. A clear and present danger, lol. I tend to gravitate to pg heavy juices anyway.

My best advice to you is to get your post count up to 5 so that you are eligible to go to the DIY sub-forum here for some real advice, post-haste. And good luck, and welcome!
