OOOOOOOOOOOOK

SO... I was just puffing away on my PV; CE2's with a rubber "drip tip"

Anddddd I got a super fowl taste in my mouth! yay me!

What was this taste you might wonder?

Well... it tasted like .......*** RUBBER!!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?!?!?!

What happened to my CE2?!?!?!?!?!

Anyone????

ive boiled out brand new ce2s to find chunks of black something coming from inside
ive found everyone to preform different and after a little while they just taste like poo

Any recommendations? I'm using 510 threading.

What I liked about the CE2: warm vape - can hold lot of juice... I can handle dripping though (I think)

There are a couple of things that you may need to do as you will occasionally get a dry/rubbery taste.

1) the easiest, tip the pv on an angle upwards and take a drag, that should get some more juice back to the coil.
I notice this needs to be done as the juice is about 1/2 to 1/3 left.
2) V notch the cup that goes on the coil to allow more room for the wicks.
This is something that is a lot harder to do but it does help in combination with tip 1.

Yeah - I got that taste when I had a bout 1/3 left to go. so I topped it off and it's fine again.

Can you explain the V notch process a little more?

you have to get the ceramic cup and then use some good snips or clipper or something to cut a v in the ceramic cup

for a good lr atty

my #1 pick is CISCO LR306 w dt
thats the best aty i have ever used tons of vapor nice heat it will perform twice as warm as ur ce2

Sure.

So the cup seal that goes over the white cup where the coil is, you have to remove it (a pair of tweezers with a hook bent into the end works great for this). Once it is removed if you notch or /\ cut notches into it, you allow more room for the juice to flow around and directly to the coil wire.

Now you have to be careful though, if you cut too much or them too big when you put them on their side you will cause some flooding (which is resolved by a good blows into a paper towel).

And no wood not the ceramic cup, just the rubber plug that goes onto the cup.

NO NOT THE CUP ! You'll ruin it. Cut the rubber stopper that goes over the cup.

actually u cut the ceramic cup where the atty is rested where the wick is the rubber ring would be piontless ecxept for airflow look it up
yours may be a tip also but im def talking about the ceramic cup the coil sits in
be carefull though or u will break the cup in half

There are newer ones out there where this isn't as much of a problem because the xl's come with a center cap that you can replace the cup ring with and don't have to cut anything, but I think only two places have them. The one's I use are from gotvapes and I think 1 pther place is saying they have now but can't remember.

There is no need to try and cut the cup when clipping the rubber stopper keeps it from pinching the wicks and allows better wicking.

I've always cut the rubber and never the ceramic cup. I've never had any issues with it.

I'll admit I have thought of doing it but found its just too much work (that and I'm too lazy to do that)

Hehe first of all, don't freak out! The perfect set up takes time to find my friend. Just don't be frugal - try out all sorts of different atomizers. In the end what are you left with? One perfect vape, and half a dozen "back-ups"

I don't like CE2 cartos much.
