I need someone who knows a lot about electronics to help me out.

I'm up north visiting with my mother and I forgot my charger back at home. I have 2 regular eGo's that use a mini USB connection to charge. she has a motorola charger with a mini USB port that fits my eGo and makes it light up.

Last night before I went to bed my eGo died and this morning my backup died as soon as I woke up and started puffing on it. I was forced to resort to smoking an analog to get my fix and it was disgusting! No thick cloud of vapor, no great taste, no throat hit. It held me over for the time being.

I need to know if it is safe to use a motorola phone charger to charge my eGo.

Do eGo fast chargers put out more power than regular eGo chargers?
Doh no... mine are all 420ma. There must be a reason why they're all 4.2 420. maybe it'll get hot? Maybe it'll mess up when it thinks the battery is fully charged? I do remember seeing a vid somewhere about being careful with chargers... just can't quite remember. Still, i'd do it and just keep an eye on it.

Are your batteries ego pass throughs? If so, yes. That charger will be fine.

A USB port on a computer provides 5.0v at 500-600 mah. The ego pass throughs come with a PC cable that plugs in to USB. The Motorola charger you found is within that spec.
Good point. Also the usb cable from my phone charger can be removed and plugged directly into the computer so... it is fine
