Hello all! I'm about a month into vaping and loving it. Haven't wanted a regular cigarette since the day I got set up from madvapes.

I could use some help with my eq though. Currently using a Vision Spinner with a Kanger T3S tried this and loved it the first two days. Way better than the Redux that I previously purchased.

But after two days of use this puppy started getting hot! So hot it almost burns my fingers! Specifically where the battery screws into the clearomizer. Is this normal? something I'm doing wrong? Anything I can do to fix? I see this is a newer product has anyone else had this prob?

Well, it sounds like you need another eGo so when one gets hot, you can use the other one. Mine does the same thing. Seems like the shorter batteries get hotter quicker but that could be my imagination since I can move my hand down and I don't feel the heat as much on the longer batteries. I don't let mine get overly hot so I let mine cool down if I only have one on hand.

Or you can go to a bigger device........

Thanks to all of you! I think that may be my solution to move on up to a bigger and better product as with most things in life I'm sure vaping and ecigs are the same, you get what you pay for? Read the other day on a thread that it looks like the Provari is the Bentley of Ecigs? What's the Bentley of tanks, clearomizers, cartomizers to go along with it?

I noticed shortly after I started vaping for the first time I was vaping more... ie chain vaping. This was mainly due to me finding some very tasty juices. That caused everything I used to get hot (including my wife, but we wont go there.)

If you have not altered your habits since first getting the device then it could be something starting to give out. An increase in resistance would cause it to get hotter and I have known some LIon batteries to generate more heat after time. Few easy checks if you have the spare parts. Change the head in the Kanger T3s and see if you are still having an issue. If not then change the battery ... or borrow one and see if the heat is still an issue.

There are different kinds of devices. Some like mechanical mods, others like electronic mods, then there are the cig-a-like, eGo's and everything in between. Every week there is something new and better coming out. The Provari is a well built electronic mod that is easy to use and even though I have one, I can't say it's the "Bentley" of ecigs. Not sure if there is a thing.

Clearomizers, cartomizers and tanks are the same. I think there's a lot of changes to come as far as a delivery system goes so what you might like today will quickly change.

Just my one cent....

Coil can last for months or die in minutes - Built by hand and QC is not great.
Definitely get another coil in it before risking a damaged battery.

A small cheap multimeter comes in handy for checking ohms on a coil to verify any issues. Simple to use.

Coil heads are considered disposable items. buy 5 pak and they will probably stop failing:D Murphy's law
