I am a first time poster on this site I have been vaping for quite a while but I still have a lot of questions. Anyone have a link to a thread or site that can explain the ohm rating and how using watts or volts effects different tastes or amount of vape in whatever ohm your device is? Also I have an itaste MVP and a zmax and my zmax is constantly screwing up and scrolling through the menu or going up and down in wattage when I'm trying to use it I think I dropped it too many times. But whatever I use iclear30 or evod tank I can't get great airflow on some of them but others do I don't understand why it's different. I have 5 evod tanks and 2 of them have great airflow while 3 do not. I haven't been that impressed with flavors either and have been thinking of getting into a dripping atomizer so any suggestions or sites to learn more about those would be great too thanks for the help

So what does it mean when you get that metallic taste if the wattage/voltage is too high? Even though you have plenty of fluid

Too much heat (power) is burning the liquid because the wick can't keep up, it doesn't stay wet at the coil.
This also can leave burnt stuff on the coil/wick and even turning it down will not help. Then you have to replace the head or "dry burn" it to turn the buildup or burnt stuff to ash so it will rinse off.

While the amount of power you apply to your liquid is important, it is by no means the end all and be all of vaping. There is a learning curve that everyone has to work through. Vaping is a combination of the atomizer design, the power applied, the ratio and nicotine level of your juice, your airflow, technique, temperature. Notice how much more complicated the reviews are getting on Youtube.

The more I learn, the harder it is to be able to tell people how to get a better vape, there are just too many variables. It is getting to the point of telling people to experiment, make mistakes and learn. There is no simple answer. Just my two cents. Good luck and have fun!
