Ok so I have started ordering bits and pieces to build my first vape. It will be made from deer antler and Blackbutt timber.

Couple of questions though.

510 adapter comes in 3 variations
Sealed
Small hole
Large hole
What are each of these used for? Or is it just personal preference? Does it depend on the tank you buy? I opted for the kanga pro tank mini 3.

The only other thing that I am having trouble with is the button. What sort of button? How to mount it ect....

Suggestions please

You're using the adapter for the connector on the device, right? Go with the sealed one, that way any juice that leaks out of your topper won't run down through it and make a mess inside the device.

For answers on buttons, I'd check in the Modding forum. You can get all kinds of recommendations and instructions there :) You'll need to get your 5 posts done in order to graduate from the New Members forum before you can post there, but you should still be able to browse around and see what others are using

Welcome to ECF Ohara...

Depends on what amperage you intend to carry, and if it's a wired button, or a straight mechanical. Wired buttons rated at 2a/36vdc can typically handle up to 9a/8vdc, so...

Wired buttons mount with a through hole. You can find DIY how-toos at Madvapes for simple wired mod instructions.

For a pure mech mod button assembly... Fatdaddyvapes sells brass Sigelei 19E button assemblies (and button/510 head assembly kits as well)... you'll have to female thread your body to accept the button. (scroll to the bottom)

Still trying to figure out the best way to attach the nautilius. I know it has a 510 thread and I am putting an ego connector on the pipe. I can get an ego/510 connector or should I try and thread a copper pipe as a joiner for a nicer/ longer shank.

Can you show (either pic or link) the ego connector you're referring to? ego connectors I've seen have two sets of threads: a 510 female thread and a larger male thread around the outside
