Right I have a panzer mod mcv ? Basically my wife has turned the bottom locking ring on the firing switch so it dosnt go off when stood up but it seems to have jammed can't get it lose at all ? Currently it's sat in wd40 and I'll have to use vice grips tomoz to see if that loosens it a bit ? If not is there anywhere you can buy just the bottom part of the mod ?
Any help is much appreciated

it shouldn't fire standing up even without being locked. The button is recessed. If it does fire, something is wrong with your switch or you don't have the firing pin screwed in correctly.

As for not being able to unscrew the locking right, I would just use pliers but have a microfiber cloth on between the pliers and the mod so it doesn't get marked.

ETA: There are lots of panzer clones. You could just buy a 1:1 clone and use the parts from that.

Cold will shrink stuff and heat will expand them. Try to cool what's inside the ring, put it in the freezer, and heat, be careful not to burn yourself, the ring when you try to move it.

In the future Noalox is a grease that can be used on the mod to stop things from getting stuck and also to improve the conductivity. Use a tiny bit and clean regularily.

i agree with p7willm i had a panzer and they stick pretty much alot a good device but needs to be cleaned and lubed regularly i would use rubbing alcohol (sorry my spelling sucks) and a very light coat of Noalox.

also i've hard some use very very fine sandpaper to scatch some of the paint off of the threads to help it be a little more loose but never had to do it to mine.
