FELLOW REONAUTS IVE JUST KILLED A MAN!!! No but I did do something just as bad, recently I went down to 3mg of nic. And well, my coworker whom I used to smoke with asked if I cared to join him for a cigarette, and I usually do and just vape and talk to him but this time I bummed one off him. I've been craving a cigarette for a while so should I just move up to 6mg again?

Also different topic I was gonna clean my reo out soon but since I bought mine second hand I don't know how to take the button cover off, I feel if I just pry it off ill just break something which I'm known to do...HAYLP

As far as the cigarette goes don't beat yourself up. Were just humans and can slip. You can increase the nic if you want just set your mind back on track and you'll be fine.

It certainly sounds as tho you need to up your nic level! And having a puff isn't a crime! And when I remove my button cover I use a tiny screw driver covered with a tiny towel or wrap some paper towel around it, then pry gently....or just stick a fingernail under the bottom edge and flip up...which I mostly do...

Why, you little.... kidding, I'm kidding. Don't kick yourself for having a smoke. We shouldn't eat donuts either. You're here and asking about nic levels, so clearly you're a vaper, not a smoker. Up the nic and see how you feel.

I have one juice I keep around that's 12mg (my ADV's are 6mg). Sometimes I need the extra bite, usually during a period of stress and/or vaping abstinence.

The button cover should be friction fit - not screwed or glued (or tattooed for those familiar with the phrase), so gentle prying should do it. Turn it to the locked position before doing this in case you accidentally depress it (you don't want the mod to fire while doing this).

I smoked two every day in the AM for months then one on rare occasion. Finally, I have been cigarette free for months. If I fell off the wagon by borrowing one, I would not worry. I like Papa's suggestion about an emergency "stash" of increased nicotine and would recommend taking it.

Upping your daily nic level based on bumming a cigarette seems like a very bad idea to me.

Unless you are CONSTANTLY having cravings.... I would say this was more psychological than physical. Get your mind back on track and continue as before. You can keep a small stash of higher for special times when you need it.


There is no need to take the REO apart to clean it, and there is no reason to remove the delrin insert, etc. unless you are rebuilding it.

Just take out battery, bottle, and use some hot soapy water, and a toothbrush, give a bath, rinse, set up to dry. then put some detoit/naolox on firing pin, charge up your batts, and vape.

Just be aware, that video is for the "old" contacts, you should never file the newer (gold colored) ones. For the new ones, after it's dry, use a pencil eraser, then apply the deoxit. Don't forget to put a bit of deoxit (or noalox, whichever is appropriate) to the spring where it contacts the battery.

Deoxit is for the new (gold) contacts, Noalox is for the old (silver) contacts.
