I give him all my old POFS devices. Protanks, this and that and he's got nothing but problems. Here I am on week 3 of my coil and wick on my Reo Mini. The best way I described to him, what it's like having this device, vs. the endless POFS I've had in the past is this; "WINNING".

I placed my RM on the fireplace mantle a little while ago. I was moving too fast and it took a 5' tumble to the bricks below. The delrin tip got a bit scraped, the cover fell off and the battery fell out, but otherwise, functioning as normal.

But he won't listen to me. He wont just bite the bullet and end his pain and mine. I have to listen to him complain about his protanks constantly. I told him to bend over and grab his ankles once, shell out the $200, walk around bow legged for a few days and be done with it.

What do I have to do? buy this guy a Reo myself?

You might want check the "blemished" mods section on the reosmods.com site for one for him, quite a savings there. Most folks can't even FIND the blemish, and they're brand new, with full warranty and support from Robert.

And I 2nd Mrs. C's suggestion, and even if he doesn't fall, er, go for it, you really should have a backup for it. Once you REO, nothing else quite does it anymore.

Well, if it were me, it would depend on the friend. If he wouldn't appreciate a gift horse, I'd just point at him and laugh, saying "you just don't get it, do you - let me buy you a beer so you'll shut up". If he was going to get the joke, I'd buy a second reo, set it up, and loan it to him to try. Once he saw the light, I'd tell him to keep it and buy me another (you might prefer the cash back instead).

Either way, it'd be schtumm on the complaining.
