So I changed my coils in my tank it sat for like 5 minutes mow at times when I hit it it taste like its burning has this happened to anyone else

What is the Ω of your coil?
What wattage are you vaping at?
Did you prime the cotton coils with juice before you filled the tank?

don't know what you are using but you have to juice up your coils before you hit it. if it tastes burnt it's junk, new coil..

Is that an Istick 20 watt your using , that doesn't down regulate correctly and does burn hot at lower settings. Don't know if thats your issue though.

Like others have mentioned, what tank you're using, coil ohm, and wattage would be helpful to know. Did you build your own coil? If so, did you do anything differently from the last one you used?

Could be , if it's the 30 that one doesn't suffer from that issue.

Sometimes 'sitting' doesn't work. You have to get down and squirty with some designs.

Letting it sit doesn't usually work very well. You need to prime all new coils.

To prime the coil, drop 5-8 drops (sometimes less/more depending on the size of the coil head) of juice right inside the coil, another drop of juice in all the holes on the side of the coil. Put the coil in the base, fill the tank and screw the base back onto the tank. Once you put the tank on the battery give it several unpowered primer puffs. This will make sure the wick is fully saturated.

Turn you voltage/wattage down, tank a few hits, bump it up, couple more hits. Repeat until you find your "sweet spot". If your vape starts to taste burnt, dial it back down.

It you burn the cotton wick, the coil will need to be replaced.

Have you checked your settings? If you haven't locked in your preferred setting it might have reset itself to maximum, as mine did when it was new- I didn't read the instructions properly/didn't know this could happen and the first hit was truly evil. Start low and work up is good rule.

Is it one of the dual coil atomizers you're using? I've had spotty luck with those, you can use the single coil heads in those, they work fine and are way easier to rebuild when needed.

The coils are dual coil unit by kangertech and the resistance is a 1.but my mod is saying its on 2.1
