hey there i have :
SMOKE M80
TFV4 MINI
TF R-2 DUAL COIL DECK
28 GAUGE KANTHAL

I want to build a nice coil for taste and also vapor so like in between both of em. I have been making coils myself late with 5-6 wraps on each , but it always burn on the day itself the wattage is set to 21.5 watts and it gets burnt just half day thru. The other day i cleaned the coil and rewicked it but was okay for awhile and i got back the burnt taste . so i clean it and dry fire it but when the coils got hot , fire was coming out of it and it happens to all my coils.

is there any way to escape this , its giving me bad taste

AND also how many wraps should i make if i want to take long drags of the vape

it was 0.61ohm

What are you using for your wick? Coils catching on fire from dry-burning is from the juice left on the deck burning off, I clean it off and continue dry burning.

i have wicked it with more cotton and slowly reducing it but it still is like that

Maybe try temp control mode (with the appropriate wire of course)

I use to get burnt hits sometimes to. With temp control it just does not happen.
