Hey guys, I need your help again! I made a thread last month about getting an E-Cig for my girlfriends mother. She ended up getting the KGO and loves it. A friend came over and tried it, She really liked the throat hit she got from it, but is not satisfied with the large size. Any brand recommendations for something smaller? She seemed interested in getting a passthrough if that would work as well. Said she felt comfortable with pressing a button, but would rather not have one, not a big deal either way.

The "button" allows you to have a sealed battery where the liquid can't get in a fry the electronics or worse. You can get smaller batterys though:

Hi and props for helping a friend to quit smoking! My two cents - I started out with an 808XL. 808s come in 3 sizes I think - shorty, std and XL. I like the XL's - I'm a girlie, they are sleek/slender and the batt life is a bit longer. I'd highly recommend this as a great way for someone to get started - I still use mine now and again even though I own a few mods now V4L Electronic Cigarette - V4L Vapor4Life - Vapor King - best e-cig - smoking alternatives! diamond series XLs - seem to work the best and last the longest - at least my experience. Started out with the Volcano Magma, then purchased the larger eGo battery. Nice set-up since I can use the parts from my Magma. Love Volcano's customer service.
I use the Volt and like the customer service from Smokelessimage - although I am looking at mods right now. The Volt now has sealed batteries to prevent juice from messing things up, and the vapor and throat hit are satisfactory.

SmokelessImage Volt manuals 78mm and 3.6v regulated to deliver 40mah more charge per size - solid system, good cartos. A manual KR808D-1 is the closet you will get with a slim ecig to the hit of a Kgo. Of course you can't use LR or dual coils on slim ecigs so you won't get that kind of hit but the Volt cartos are 2.6 ohm and the Bloogplanet ones are the same if SI is still out of blanks and Halocigs G6 is also the same model and may use the same horizontal coil 2.6 ohm cartos. Can also use cartos from V4L.com.
If a longer drag is desired, see V4L standard size manuals 3.7v unregulated - many of their batteries have a 10-13 second custom cutoff vs 5 seconds for other KR8's.
Or for less expense, a standard manufacturer gold button KR808D-1 (see the gold button ones at LiteCigUSA.net) and I recommend the SmokelessImage and Bloog cartos since they are vapory and absorbent and not hot on the lips.
