I ordered the Vapor Genie directly form there sight. Decided on the glass one because I collect glass and it looked cool to me. Shipping was quick. Was sold a maintenance kit that was completely useless for the pipe I ordered. Pipe cleaners that would ruin unit and tips for unit with no tip lol. Performance was dissapointing.Size and length awkward. Flavor and harshness just nasty. So it now belongs in my glass collection I won't be using it for vapeing for sure.

I'm just wondering how this is safer than cigarettes e.g combustion?

I am not certain how this particular device functions but if it works like some of the other portable herb vaporizers I have seen its no different. The portable one I was looking at uses a butane to heat a heat pin, which is like the atomizer and in turn heats the herb chamber. The device is set to a constant temperature that will not reach combustion (374 F).

The device I was looking at had a herb chamber and a moisture condenser for wet herbs. I have seen videos of people using it for the e-Juice and it seems to work very well as far as vapor, cant say about the taste. The units can be found starting at 150.00 to 250.00.

I own an Herbalaire 2.0. It's a very nice herbal vaporizer with cheap replacement parts and attachments. It can be used like a standard Glassware vaporizer like those cheap wooden ones and also can fill up bags of vapor like the overpriced Volcano with the air pump attachment that comes with it.

I have been vaping for around 3 years but I have been using e-cigs for roughly 3 months now, so I am definitely NOT new to vaping at all.

I would never use an herbalaire for my nic juice though... Or even to vape straight tobacco in it (there is still benzene, formaldehyde, and radioactive material in the tobacco even if it isn't combusted) but I use it for my other smokables on a daily basis. I figure that a Vapor Genie, a volcano, and even a globe based vaporizer design would be ineffective for nic juice as well because of the design (an herbalaire would be toast after 1 drop since the heating element is right underneath the herb chamber).

The Iolite however, I have seen it work in NicFitNation's videos on youtube. He said it hits alot harder though which to me sounds like it is burning the base of the juice slightly with all of that butane heat.

Thats the single reason I have not picked one up. Even though it looks like it produces alot of vapor and a good TH it looks like it could be burning the juice. Its just too expensive to go on a limb and get one just to find out the juice is going to burn.
