I'll just jump in and introduce myself, shall I?

I started smoking when I was 12 (!), took many breaks to incubate and raise children (the longest break was 10 years) but over the past 4 years had reestablished a pack-a-day habit and a good deal of self-loathing along with it. For the past 4 months, however, I have had a committed and monogamous relationship with vaping :)....

LOL.... Brought back memories of when we hatched baby chicks in elementary school. Sounds like your son was a successful science experiment. Hehehe.

Welcome from another Maryland vaper. Head north up the Bay to the bridge, go 19 more miles and turn to port. You'll find me happily vaping away at the dock bar...

At 33 years old, I also started smoking around 12 years old but it didn't turn into a consistent habit until I was about 15 or 16. Prior to that is was just the "cool" thing I did when I hung out with certain people. Congrats on making the change and taking your relationship with vaping beyond just an affair :)

My wife and I love vaping and we're just getting deeper into the scene, from home life to professional work. Kudos for sharing vaping with your son as well!

Congratulations on the switch !

I'm a police officer in Canada. I've been smoking for 15 years. In the latter years I was a pack a day, especially with the stresses of law enforcement.

I discovered vaping through a fellow officer. I bought a kit and looked at it for a week while i researched the hell out of this amazing concept.

I finally pulled the trigger after meditating on it and deciding to call it quits. I've been clean for six weeks now and I've never felt better. I've converted a few fellow officers already.

I'm typing this message from my doctors office. He's been my family physician for 17 years. I told him about vaping, expecting to catch flak from him about it or atleast him asking what the heck it is.

To my delight, he was very happy that I've switched and told me he supports vaping 100%. I asked him why aren't you concerned and how do u know about vaping ? He smiled and said that he has read medical journals that support vaping and that big government doesn't know how to tax it so they don't support it. He said he has recommended vaping to quite a few patients but was kinda surprised to see my simple setup he said he's never seen ecigs like mine lol. I have an itaste vv3 with a davide BDC tank.

For what it's worth.

We are a revolution that should only get stronger in time.

All the best to everyone here. Thanks to all of you, it helped me make my final decision with all the reading I did on here :)
