Hey everybody, what's good? I just yesterday bought a cap pen, due to excessive cigarette prices, and of course health reasons. I also have this amazing case of heartburn, which I've never had before, and it's like a guessing game to figure what to eat n not eat.
I've got about 9 products to help with the heartburn, tums, prilosec, Apple cider vinegar, baking soda, pepcid a.c., bromelain, devil's claw, ginger ale... to name a few.
Do you think I'll be ok with vaping just a few times a day? I've got two liquids from Gentleman's Draw. Cafe mocha n fruity cereal. 6mg -30ml and 3mg - 30ml.
Thanks.

Well, when I was smoking I got heartburn whenever I thought about quitting.
And my ex-wife
And money
And my kids
And...well you get it.

You could have an issue that requires a Dr, but I'm willing to bet vaping won't make it worse. If it's not a medical issue could just be stress or any number of things.

However it turns out, good luck and welcome.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Would stay away from acid type vapes and try some cream desert/bakery flavors.
Might like to read:

A list of symptoms when quitting tobacco and changing to an ecigarette
Might want to try the ECF search function in upper right hand corner of this post. Could type in "heartburn".

If you keep the vape in your mouth and exhale through your nose, you won't be inhaling into your windpipe. This may or may not help your sx, but plenty of nic is absorbed through the mucus membranes, so you will still be getting enough nic. This may be worth a try. Heartburn could be being caused by the stress of quitting cigs/ the quit process itself, so it's really a bit too soon to say whether vaping is contributing. You could also try flavorless to see if the flavors are irritating your diaphragm and whatnot, but I'd give it some time, and if it worsens, or doesn't pass that is the time to see your doctor to help figure out what is going on.
