Here is a bottom button mod I banged out today pretty easy.

It's tensioned with ball bearings through holes in the side of the tube and wrapped in shrink tubing. It's a nice and simple 14500 mod. I already have a lock (so it won't accidentally fire) designed for the bottom, but ran out of time today. Oh, and the center pin is adjustable:cool:

Spork, I don't quite get how the switch works, how does the return action happen? I'm curious about the ball bearing size too. A spray bottle valve has a pretty small one inside, but a HDD spindle bearing has some around the 1mm diameter size. It escapes me now, but something has clusters of really small ball bearings in it too, not used for sliding.
