Hello everyone......
I found some LEO hard tip 510 cartomizers on sale and got 20 of them, as the cost was to hard to pass up, I thought worst case I could use a rubber cap to fill them, and still be ahead of the game because they was so cheap.
At any rate many of the reviews said the hard tips are glued in, but after messing around with one, I got a reg screwdriver that was just a little smaller then the tips hole, and bent it at the end so I could pry up on the tip.
Well they pop out if you pry up on the inside going around the tip, they are not glued in at all they are just hard tips, that are pushed in to place to where it's hard getting them out again.
But they do come out I took 19 of them out that way and it wasn't hard, there is room then to put a soft tip or even a drip tip, you can even pull the wicking cloth out if your very careful, and cut some off to repack it.
As it's a long wire going up most of the cartomizer, so the worst case is you can refill it very easy, after putting a soft tip on or a drip tip as both will work, filling with a drip tip on would be messy though, as it has a hole in the center going all the way down to the connector.
Trying to use a wire does not work as it has to be strong, so it has no give in it at all, that is why I used a reg screwdriver bent at the end to do it, pulling out does not work, you have to pry up the outer rim of the tips, and work your way around it.
