When you say less spring tension you are speaking of the fire button? I agree it could be a little less stiff but it will eventually work in more.

I also concur that it may be the best made mechanical come out of china...this was my first impression too.

Yes ... "less spring tension you are speaking of the fire button"

Of the suggestions I've mentioned, I would pay the extra $ in a heartbeat, for an upgraded top cap, were the 510 connector would be flushed, for more of a streamline look.

A flushed 510 connector would cause other issues with draw on may carto/clearo/atties... that is the cause of the main complaint I read about on the Provari

I was thinking more of the flushed 510 connector, as an option on the side, like the optional 18500 tube being offered.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but I just received my Natural today and I was looking at it thinking about the flush mount no draw problem. Simple solution for anyone with a dremel tool is to make a hole inside one or two of the dimples in the top cap. Now you have airflow with a flush mount.

edit** the connection rises slightly above the top cap so unless you file this down I don't think you'll get a truly flush mount anyways.

edit again** bads right..not hard to file down the connection.

NEW Updated The NATURAL Mechanical mod SMOKtech - ALL STAINLESS
$69.95 $64.95 On sale through Sunday

This just may be one of the BEST quality fully mechanical mods that has come out of China. We are truly impressed with its sleek, softly polished stainless steel finish that has perfect heft and is almost impervious to fingerprints. ITS GORGEOUS.

FIRST HERE AT GOTVAPES, INTRODUCING THE NEWLY UPDATED...
The Natural Mechanical Mod by SMOKtech - UPDATED Version
This mod as purchased and fully assembled takes a 18650 battery. Remove the middle tube and it accomodates an 18350 battery. Purchase the optional 18500 extension tube and it can use 18500 batteries.

The first generation of The Natural had a conical sloped top and quite honestly didn't look too hot with tanks. SMOKtech redesigned the top to make it a much more attractive flat top with dimples in the stainless encircling the cap. This cap unscrews from the rest of the mod independently and has a center pin than can be loosened or tightened by a wide flat 'screw'. Very nice! The Natural features an eGo well and can receive, natively, most CE4 style cartomizers such as our Stardust. Unfortunately the Kanger T2's and T3's will not fit without an adapter.

At the bottom of the mod you will see a generous ring of 12 vent holes done very tastefully as you can see in the pictures. Within the mod is an interesting feature. It has a flat-head, wide base you can screw in and out to accomodate batteries that may be slightly longer but most importantly it is adjustable to fit a KICK or the upcoming chinese made STOMP. This base also has its own internal ring of vent holes, parallel to the vent holes on the bottom of the mod.

This is a GG Style Mod that does not disappoint in ANY way. Great feeling in the hand, solid quality, no wires or soldering, fully mechanical. Very comfortable side mounted firing button that has an adjustable knurled lockign ring that can keep the mod from firing when you don't want it to.

  • All Stainless Steel - very softly brushed and polished finish for great finger print resistance; perfect heft, it won't feel too heavy or too light, just SOLID.
  • Accomodates 18350, 18500 and 18650 battieries (18500 with an optional extension tube)
  • Adjustable for use with KICK.
  • Full detachable including the top cap atomizer connection.
  • Native eGo well
  • Generous ring of venting at base and on the inside base, stylishly done (see pics)
  • DIMENSIONS: 18350 (77mm/3.0 inches), 18500 (92mm/3.6 inches), 18650 (108mm/4.2 inches); 22mm or .8 inches wide
  • IMR batteries are recommended with The Natural.

she's a beauty !!!

Just throwing this info into this thread...

On the SMOK Natural:
The bottom (switch section) + the top (510 connector section) provide 15mm
The center tubes are 20mm, 30mm, and the optional 34mm.
The bottom cap can be adjusted out a mm or so, and the pos pin in the top section has a half a mm (maybe more) adjustment room.

So, we use:
  • the 20mm tube for an 18350;
  • the optional 34mm tube for an 18490/18500 (or an 18350+Kick);
  • the 20mm + 30mm tubes for an 18650 (or an 18490+Kick).

Seems that the 30mm + optional 34mm tubes would provide room for an 18650 + a Kick (with the bottom cap maybe gapped out 0.5 to 1mm depending upon the battery used).

I'll post up some pics when I get mine in. For those who didn't see my post in the other thread, I've ordered the Natural with a Kick and 18500 batteries. I have an 18650 battery on hand to try. I may crash USPS.com by tracking it too much

... and perhaps not. I ordered some Evod's, Evod replacement heads and restocked on some Hush e-liquid on Saturday morning... I received my vapemail this morning. Granted USPS mail still moves on the weekends, you should see them in about 2 days... 3 days at the worst if you are "in the sticks" somewhere.

2 days! 8-o That's foreverrrrr!
Lol, yeah, I should get it in a couple days. Even though I'm in the sticks, I still get stuff the day after it gets to Tulsa.
