Congrats! I have a SmokelessImage Volt. They have impeccable customer service and I've been happy with the product. If you haven't already, read the vaping tutorial. It has good stuff on how to get the nicotine, as vaping is different from smoking in the way you absorb nic. I am a 0 nic so I don't know a ton about that but I do know that it is different and you might have an easier time if you are absorbing the nic in the most efficient manner.

Heard a lot of good things about the Volt though I've tried a similar type of set-up it just didn't do it for me. I used to smoke Marb Reds at least 1 PAD and I've found an Ego type set-up was best for me (got the KGO model). Most smokers looking to "convert" seem to gravitate towards the mini style e-cigs because they resemble a cig the most. Like you I found it tough but once I upgraded to a bigger batt I completely kicked my habit and haven't looked back. Another plus to a bigger battery is the amount of time between charges plus the 510 connection seems to have the most variety in accessories(which I prefer since i like to tinker). The reason I chose the KGO is because of the cost effectiveness.

Most importantly its really a matter of preference. Whatever gets you off analogs and works best for you go for it...oh, and HAPPY VAPING!

Congrats on the switch and welcome!! I quit cigs same day also and it was the best thing to do. If you start feeling that the volt isnt doing the job and you want something with better battery life I would go ahead and get a lavatube mini vv. I would have saved alot of money if I did so .. With a vivi nova ofcourse and bobas bounty juice!!

The Lavatube is a variable voltage device, it is nothing like a volt. It is a larger device, the batteries are replaceable, you can change the temperature and the length of time between charge is a lot longer.

Both are good devices, it just depends on where you want to start. If you want something that is the size of a cigarette, get a volt. If you want something larger, get a Lavatube.

Though many of us end up with larger devices, IMHO it is easier to get off analogs by starting with something like the volt since it most imitates smoking a cigarette. Then, down the line when you are more comfortable and want something larger, you can step up.

Personally, if you would have handed me a Lavatube or provari when I was smoking, I would have never used it. I own a provari, but I use my volt products when I am out of the house or want a more cigarette type experience (which is most of the time)

Congrats on the switch King, I too was a Winston smoker, last one was 5 weeks ago. I use the Volt also, I picked up a couple sample packs of flavors from smokeless image and vape 555 probably about 75% of the time.

Also like you I didn't think that I would ever vape the fruit and other favors but I suggest giving some a try as well, grape, red energy, vanilla, dragons blood, all tasty IMO

Pretty tough call on that one, because no liquids really resemble any analogs. You could try Dekang USA Mix or DK Tab. Or Halo's Torque56, even though I don't really like it myself it's a popular one.

I was a pack a day smoker a few months ago, and managed to cut that down to about 5-8 sticks a day. When I started vaping seriously, I went from that down to 3-4 per day. For the last week it's been 0-1 sticks per day, and I'm slowly starting to kick the habit.

What I found is that eventually, the other flavors will start to grow on you. It takes a bit of experimentation to see what flavors you actually enjoy vaping a lot, and then making a commitment to actually cut down on your smokes. It's going to take about 1-3 weeks to get accustomed to it so you have to be strong during this period, but slowly you'll start finding analogs to taste nastier and nastier and actually enjoying those other flavors.

I was a Marlboro smoker and started with an Ego. It worked for a while but eventually still felt something was missing. i moved to a lavatube and then on to others but I really feel VV is the way to go. I also thought I wanted a juice that tasted like an analog but after finding other good juices I like eventually gave up wanting that taste, which I think is what happens with most. there are some pretty good tobaco flavors out there but in my experience none that taste exactly like analogs which I now am happy about.
