I just got one of these in the mail, it fits a 16340 with a little room, so any 3.6/3.7v battery about that size will work. All plastic, easy to work with. There are a couple other water pipes the same size at dealex also. So cheap, too!

I think that 100ma output might not be enough. I like to see at least 1A, 2A even better.

pic of unit says input 450mA / output 400mA. i assumed that was rated for continous draw. i would think it might handle short burst intervals of twice that at least. maybe not for $2.55 . oh well, sorry
