I got these in the mail:

DealExtreme: $4.75 TrustFire Protected 14500 3.7V 900mAh Lithium Batteries (2-Pack Blue)


Just in case any of you didn't already know, this 14500 size is exactly that of a AA, making it perfectly fit any flashlight housing that's designed for one AA battery. And thus, mod.

You're welcome--glad to know I'm helping.

I've been using the smaller 16340s, at 880mAh, and they last a good long while. They stay at a good peak voltage for a couple hours, and I'm a pretty heavy puffer. But, I will try the the 16500s and see how they do. I'm guessing very well.

An interesting part of tinear's SideWinder is that he says the LED he put in will indicate low voltage by dimming or flickering.
