Here's An Idea For Christmas....

Thinking tends to make my head hurt, so I try to do as little of that activity as possible. Today I broke trend and tried it out.

So, here's the idea...... Ok we all get "Goodies" with each of our orders. Sometimes juice, sometimes batteries etc. So what if we went through each order we get and separate all of the "Goodies" out of all of our orders. Put it all in the closet in a box or something. Then when the holidays come we pull it all out and wrap it up to put under the Christmas tree. Then it really would be Christmas!

Funny thing was that I actually was setting all of my bonus items aside. Then my son was desperate for a way to quit smoking and I ended up giving him most of bonuses as well as much of my personal stash. But just imagine what we would have collected over a year of orders. Heck, JenJen could start her own store after a year!

For those of us with a birthday in the middle of the year (like me), I could even have 2 stashes. First half of the year for my birthday and second half for Christmas. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I think I might actually do that for next year.

Anyway, just an idea.

I always tasted the different carts that came as bonuses, but then I would immediately put them in my stash box. If I really liked the flavor I would of course go and order at least one box right then, so I never had to wait for long. Not really hard at all. If you "test" a free carto and can't stand to wait til you can order some just take another flavor you already have to put in the stash box in it's place. I did that with a few over the last couple of months.

yeh i too do not have self control. for example my wife told me buy whatever you want with your smoking stuff (she calls it and she never smoked) and when i am done buying give her the packages and she will wrap it and give it to me. OK great idea huh. well....... I have about 5 packages so far sitting here and i took a like 2 things from each one and keeping it NOW and giving her the stuff i dont want right now. Man i feel so guilty and i have no self control. When i get a package i dont give it a chance to put any freebies on the side. im like a little kid and i start opening everything. New carts i take a few hits off each one as soon as i get the packages. Man definetely no self control here.

How about this:
Each time you get an order, keep your goodies as an on the spot present, I think that's how Steve intended it.
However. Each time you place an order, calculate how much you save off your coupon code, and transfer that amount into a separate savings account. Then come Christmas/birthday, use this account to splurge on whatever you want.
Then you get the best of both worlds?

Precisely. When I get bonus cartos of new flavors, I simply have to try them. Some I love, some I like, some I just rinse, but I think it's a great business tactic. I've discovered flavors I didn't think I'd like this way. For example, I know my next order will contain a couple boxes of Coconut Cream Pie.
