Well, it took actively looking for it. Personally I think the shipping/billing info should be on the secure site, so customers aren't turning away. Yeah, it's great to see 505'ers on the board, especially the GG board.

Yea, he said on front page he'd be putting some on ebay for international buyer to more easily purchase.

I'm set on wire and think I have enough wick to wait for imeo's tested wicks. If I was running low or out I'd be ordering some in a heartbeat.

I ordered some of his kanthal. Got a shipping notification. Should be good. So far I've been using imeos Pre made wires but I have a did comming so I'm going to need it anyways. I'm going to pick up some silver and give it a shot. Also has anybody tryed melting the silver to the kanthal after they have been twisted together? Was just thinking about that. Silver is basically solder so it should work right?

I also picked up some silver .999 0.25mm was hoping to solder this together also..

I wouldn't use solder or try to melt the silver. Mainly because there's no need. Trying to get either to stick the the resistance wire would probably be an exercise in futility. Adding solder or flux is just one more way for possible toxin to enter the equation.

Will be ordering wick/wire when he has both on his ebay store. Been using nichrome, interested to see how the Kanthal compares. Great to see yet another 505'er on the GG board! very cool.

i have yet to try nichrome.. i have a pile of kanthal a132 left from my orions that has been sustaining me till i got a pile of kanthal 36 today.
