ok, so ive been puffing away on my ecigs for bout 18 months. still have the occasional real cig :( normally only when something breaks, I'm still on 1.8mg was hoping to drop it by now but when I do I find I want cigs more. i'm currently using a Mudder tank from amazon with adjustable airflow and 2200 mAh battery. I tried my cousins mod at a party and it was amazing, the flavour the vape all good. so now I really want to upgrade to something like she had. only trouble is none of what she told me made sence, resistance and something about not mouth to lung.
please help. I tried to find info on sr vape site but I just ended up more confused

Hello and welcome to the forum @Sphoenix. Glad to have you here!

She most likely has a box mod with a subΩ clearomizer (tank that uses stock coils).

There are MANY different ones.
  • Anything from 20 - 200 watts (power).
  • Some allow you to run in wattage & temperature control mode (eliminates dry/burnt hits).
  • Some have internal batteries (like what you have) others take an 18650 cell you need an external charger to charge it.
Lower Ohm Coils Will:
  • Heat The Coil Faster
  • Produce More Vapor
  • Drain The Battery Faster
  • Use E-Juice Faster
  • Produce A Warmer Tasting Vape
Higher Ohm Coils Will:
  • Heat The Coil Slower, Which Will Produce “Less” Vapor
  • Provide A “Cooler” Tasting Vape
  • Use Less E-Juice
  • Prolong Battery Life
A variable power battery (voltage and/or wattage) is advantageous in being able to adjust the power output to the user's preference. Not all flavors taste their best at a single fixed voltage. For example, most fruit flavors are best at a lower power setting, while flavors like tobacco or coffee flavors may taste better at a higher setting. However, this is very subjective to the individual vaper's personal taste.

If you are interested in learning more about e-cigarettes (and all the parts and pieces) below are some blog posts by ECF member @Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping or looking to upgrade.
Here are a few more links from New Members Information <= Link covers many topics. Here are two of them:
