Elpha - You have to feel sorry for Maureen and me too! Have you read about the extreme heat in many parts of this country? I think it might be hotter where Maureen lives than it is my area. We haven't seen temps below 90 during the day in weeks. This isn't normal. Also, in Florida, this is typically the rainy season with storms every afternoon. It's not happening this year. I think Mother Nature took a long break and forgot about us.

Yeah...we had one day I think in the high 80's this week....I was actually shocked. We've been hovering in the high 90's most of the last month...with high humidity....ugh. It's a bad sign when you're thrilled to see low 80's at 6:30 in the morning.
We got some rain this morning, cooled things off quite a bit. It looks like it'll be a cooler week overall. I'm glad, everyone seems to be in a better mood!
We had major storms yesterday and a lot of rain. After the storms moved through, the temp. dropped to 73! Today, it's overcast and drizzling. I just checked the weather; it's only 84!
10.5 inches below normal on rain....58 days in excess of 100 since late May....Last 41 in a row!!! Remember me talkin about that 1980 summer that was such a killer...well as of Wednesday two days away, we will knock down the last standing Record for that summer....and the forcast looks no better for the forseeable ... So I guess I will have a new worst summer to talk about..
