Hey every body!!!!!! I need some help

my computer died and I got a Ipad 3. I can't figure out how to post to the forum or get it to display correctly. If anyone can help plz let me know. I borrowed a netbook for the day. I guess the ipad has a bigger learning curve than I thought

You should be able to download taptalk from the app store, it should make the forums much more ipad friendly.

It's the only way I can use the forums on my phone without going insane, little learning curve, but you should enjoy it.

I know this may sound dumb but do you search for the forum from in the app? My first real tablet and apple

I had to try a few different search methods to get ecf to show up, but you do have to search for it through the app it self.

Yeah, tapatalk is the only way to do it really. There is no "liking" though, and limited ability to modify the text.

Try installing Chrome ... if it works as it does on my Android phone... it will let you use the Like and other features.

AFAIK... the main restriction on Apple products is they don't allow Flash to operate except within the app made for it... so you can't watch a YouTube vid without loading the vid into the Flash Player ( however that is done on an iPad/iPhone... again it isn't a restriction on the Android phones/tablets )

One thing I like about Chrome and why I mentioned it... I have the same bookmarks available to me on my desktop as my phone as long as I'm signed in with my Gmail account. Still, I recognize that many have voiced concerns about Google getting too much into their personal business

Chrome 100% I love the Chrome app. I love having all of my bookmarks synced. Every other browser, aside from the stock Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0+), sucks at syncing.

I can't really think of any special tips for using Tapatalk. It just sorta works out of the box It did for me, anyway.

There was a little learning curve with tap talk, I still have to fool around if I want to copy and past links and such, pictures are easy enough to share if I remember correctly though. I use it often enough, all the taptalk posts I have laying around the forums will speak to that lol. If nothing else it beats trying to navigate the forums on a device that either can't, or doesn't do so very well.

I use my ipad almost exclusively with this site. Just make sure you go to the full site instead of the mobile site, the mobile layout is bad.

Also do a google search for scroll to end, make it a favorite and put it on your bookmarks bar. Makes life a lot easier
