I have been having the same problem. Although, I am positive that my issue is bad coils. I purchased 3 5-pack boxes and two of those boxes both had at least 3-4 bad coils in them. The one box, every coil has lasted me at least a week. I vape at 15w on a 1.8 ohm coil. If you google "bad nautilus coils" you will see a lot of posts about this problem lately. However 20w is a bit high. I wouldn't go that high myself, so that may be your issue.

I routinely vape my Nautilus at 19W and never have a problem. I can run nearly 150ml through a single coil at that setting.

There is no hard and fast rule about how much wattage you can run through a coil. It largely depends on the juice your running through it. When I'm running my Nautilus at 19W I'm using a clear peppermint juice at a 50/50 mix. The darker the juice the lower you need to turn the power down to avoid it tasting burnt. Thicker juices will also need to run at lower wattages so the wicking can keep up. Also, if you're vaping at that high of a wattage you don't want to be taking more than 2-4 second draws and you'll need plenty of airflow to avoid burnt taste.

The blanket statement that 20W is too high for Nautilus coils is wrong. It MIGHT be too high, but there's lots of variables to consider before claiming that the coils can't handle it.

That's 19W with a 1.8ohm coil, 50/50 clear peppermint juice. A coil lasts me right around 150ml worth of vaping like that.

I used to have to alter my cleamizors to wick properly... I cut the rubber cap where the wicks meet the liquid to allow better flow. I use only vg in my DIY so it's super thick.

It's all about the balance of wicking to vapor production. If your wick can't keep up with your vapor production it results in burning of the wick. Once that happens it taints your remaining liquid in the tank.

I moved from tanks (clearamizers) because I got tired of messing with them so much. I am interested in the kayfun type tanks but can't get myself past drippers now. they are so much easier to deal with once setup correctly. All the newer people I talk to about them think they are such a hassle to drip, but once they are burning their wick and messing with their setups and see me just dripping away all day they wish they had gone the direction of dripping.

It's kinda funny cuz I even offer to build their coils and wick them for them to make the experience better for them but they always do what the want and get tanks (clearos) thinking it would suit them better. Then end up going with drippers, sometimes humans just need to experience things on their own before taking advice of someone that's been there already. Which is fine, that's part of the journey.
