Hey everybody new vaper here..

Hey everybody.. so like... 2 weeks ago I was at the local tobacco shop and they had something on display called an Njoy Npro. Well long story short.. the lady running the store convinced me into buying it.

Well i've been vaping strong for the last 2 weeks and i've also pretty much don't even like cigs anymore. I didn't realize they smelled that bad haha.. I found this forum by chance looking for other pv's and so far this place looks pretty awesome lol..

I had a couple questions though..... I think i've been wanting to go for something bigger. I mean don't get me wrong.. the npro is a pretty nice little device.. its just that I feel like the cartomizers lose their unf after about 2 hours of vaping.. and recently I bought some more cartomizers and a few of them were doa? they had this nasty burnt taste.. kinda like burnt plastic or something.. yuck...

I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a bigger one that i didn't have to charge every few hours lol. I been taking my charger to work and swapping out the batteries like hot cakes..

I would get a Joye eGo. Period. I did and I love it. Welcome to ECF and welcome to vaping. The eGo I have (pink, no less!!) is from Cignot.com. They are great.

Hi there and welcome aboard!

I'm a pretty new vaper myself. Congrats on making the switch. Everyone has their favorite (or more than one). I started out with cartomizers on a two piece manual battery... which I thought was awesome.

Only two weeks later, I've come to a Riva which, by all accounts, seems to have a battery life of approximately 8 hrs depending on your vaping habits. I've only gotten mine though so I'm speaking for day old experience and tons of research on the model. I can say though that I tend to be a pretty heavy vaper and I've been using the same battery since this 8am this morning... no drop off yet.

You might try getting your own juice though. I had the same problem with premixed cartos but once I bought some blanks and filled them myself, I've found that the flavor not only tastes fresh and full but seems to last longer. I didn't realize the difference that freshness would add until I tried it. Plus you can refill used ones if yo haven't reached that point of it tasting burnt.

Hello Xuxa. I am a new vapor myself and also new to the forum. I don't have as much experience as most of the forum members but I started out with a T-Rex. Actually thought I was ordering a 510 Mega kit and got this by mistake, lol. I have had no problems with mine but I understand a lot of the forum members have. Anyway, I would not recommend it for that reason but I would recommend a Riva as a starter. A two battery starter kit should last you all day even with heavy vaping. Good luck.

so.. I've read alot of threads with name name ego in it.. seems pretty popular? is there any difference between a janty ego or joye ego?

haha yea.. my njoy npro has to be recharged like 5-6 times throughout the whole day sometimes when I get pretty stressed out at work and those dead cartomizers kinda killed the idea of carts for me.

any suggestions on good flavors or places to buy my own juice? that really seems the way to go.

So i'm from california, los angeles to be exact and I just moved here to kentucky about 1 1/2 years ago. I showed one of my friends my eciggy and he was like dude wtf is that? I told him dude i'm going to quit smoking malboros and smoke this thing instead.He told me that only I would buy something like that(since i'm from cali)haha.. well.. He was amazed how it didn't smell at all like a cigarette because he absolutely hates the smell of cigs. Lol I agree with him though.. cigs smell like crap haha..

I use a Njoy atty (RN4081) on a mod. It's a work horse really and hard to kill---well it seems that way for me.
The batteries and the carts are the downfall. I've never used the cartomizers, but heard if you learn to refill them, they are better. Of course that is said about carts too.

I started out with a Magma 510 and have switched to a box mod from Madvapes.com. The advantage of a box mod or any other mod for that matter is they use LI- ION rechargeable batteries which are cheaper and last longer than the RIVA/Hello/EGo. The draw back is mods look nothing like a real cigarette. Mine looks like I'm smoking a battery box. Look around and see what you like the looks of and what you think will work for you. A Riva or a 3.7v box mod would perform about the same and the initial cost would be about the same. So it would really come down to your preference of device. One advantage to a box mod is when the batteries die they are cheaper to replace than Riva batteries.

Welcome to vaping, Xuxa!

I'm new to this forum but have been vaping for roughly a year now. I've gone through falling off the wagon and buying analogs here and there (stressful job, work with lots of smokers, and had battery/atty/juice issues). I'm considering getting a box mod or SD, something with a TON of vapor. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes. Right now my wife and I are using 801's, and they've been just about our only pv's for the better part of a yr. As I said before, welcome!

i'm looking at 2 different websites though.. cignot.com and jantyworld.com
cignot has the joye ego and jantyworld has the janty ego...
i dont know which one to pick

Not sure the difference in the Janty and the Joye but also look into the Hello it has 1300 mAH compared to 650mAH for the EGo and it is cheaper. The Riva has 900mAH and is also slightly less expensive. Don't know much about batteries, but the higher the mAH the longer a battery will last without being recharged. I think litecig USA sells both the EGo and the Hello so you might want to check litecigusa.net before buying. Ultimately pick the device you are most comfortable with and be happy you made a good decision and quit smoking real cigs.

In my experience the mega atty's don't give more vapor but you do refill them less. I only drip so I'm not sure about the mega carts.

welcome!!!!!!!! great info on here!!! Everyone is very nice...we really have a good community! I would say get a "mod" if ur gonna be a vaper for life!!! WOOO.....i would say a "Buzz" or "Precise" are the twp best made and best Personal vaporizers out there! I have a BUzz right now and it is amazing! Variable voltage so you can adjust to different liquids and attys and carts...it is awesome....but the precise from supertmanufacturing.com looks so beautiful and i can just imagine that the craftsmanship is outstanding! Get a mod...save your money and dont bother with the 510s, and other regular looking e cigs...they suck...batt life blows...more expensive running costs...mods usually cost more but save tons of money in the long run! Unless you loose it like i did with my copper but i never let my Buzz out of my hand so that wont ever happen again LOL....GL

Welcome Xuxa. Love that you're off analogs. I have one of those mods (prodigy v3), and a couple of Egos (the 900mah ones). If your looking for battery life, get one of those bigger Egos - 900 or 1000mah. Or if you have some time and money on hand to do some shopping, a mod is something you might like. With the exception of the smaller ones, you get great battery life. When I'm out and about, I bring an Ego because I don't want to mess up, or even scratch my mod.

I have to add another vote for the eGO, the long battery life is definitely much nicer than the smaller ecigs you typically see. I purchased mine a while back when they just had the Janty eGO/Totally Wicked Tornado out so I went with the Janty. Some of the newer versions they have now have even longer battery lives as others have mentioned above.
