The Silver Bullet was my first big battery mod. I don't have anything negative to say about it. It is durable and tough; you could drive over it with a truck and it would still keep on vaping. It is solidly built, yet the threading of the tube is as finely machined as you will ever find. The switch is one of the best available. I guess you can say it is rather large and heavy, but I've carried mine with me nearly everywhere and it will fit into a front pants pocket. Customer service with Altsmoke is stellar.

After using Smokteck dual coil cartomizers in DCT tanks for months, I recently switched to the single coil variety and have no regrets whatsoever. The single coils are easier on battery life, and provide just as much vapor if not more than the duals. And I've not had any of the burnt taste I was getting with the dual coils in my carto tanks in about 3 weeks of use.

I never learned the fine art of dripping on an atomizer, so I will leave advice or comment about that for someone else.

Any reason for wanting the metal tank? I've never had one because I like to be able to see my juice level. I've gone from polypropylene tubed DCT tanks to pyrex tanks from several different manufacturers.

Ok, if those tanks are the ones that you plan of getting, those look to me like they are polypropylene tubes. I can tell because the tube material is "frosted" and not "clear" (polycarbonate). Yes, the endcaps are metal. I misunderstood what you were talking about before. Yes, those tanks are great. They actually are the first type of tanks that I got...I ended up having like 7 or 8 of them in either the 3.5ml or 6ml size. I got different colored tubes to help keep track of different flavors.

You will need a separate cartomizer and tank for each flavor of juice. The cartomizer will also need to be "punched", or have a hole in the metal tube of the cartomizer in order for the polyfill inside to feed the atomizer with juice from the tank. This means you either need to buy pre-punched cartomizers or punch them yourself with a $15 carto punch tool.

Another useful tool would be a tank accessory or tank filling tool, but it can probably wait until you are certain that you like using your first carto tank.

OK, If you want a SB that is a great mod. Also the smoktek DCT are a polyp tank. As far as dual coils I say go for it! A 1.5Ohm dual-coil smoktek carto in their DCT woul kick out plumes! If you wanna pay half as much for the mod get a Maxi rough stack from Madvapes, also all their DCT tanks are on sale. Also the Bombshell is pretty good from Hotvapes. You might want to get your batteries from Supertmanufacturing or RTD cuz they both carry AW imr high drain batteries, a must for duals w/o a V boost. Good luck!

That was probably my bad in explaining im still really knew when it comes to these things haha but i really appreciate the advice you have given me bad its really helped and now i feel more confident in getting this unit cause ive wanted a silver bullet for so long and now its finally possible! Is there any warning or things to be aware of with these tanks though in your opinon bad?

When buying your tank, just make certain that the tube is frosted looking (polypropylene, not polycarbonate) and not clear plastic. Polycarbonate is vulnerable to crack or melt when in contact with certain e-juices like cinnamon or citris flavors. Getting a tank that uses polypro eliminates that issue.

I recommend watching a couple of different video's on how to fill a cartomizer and assemble a cartomizer tank to be familiar with the steps. Also watch a video on how to punch a cartomizer with a punch tool, to see if this is something you wouldn't mind learning to do, or otherwise you will need to buy from some vendor that sells pre-punched cartos. Should you decide to order pre-punched cartos, I'd recommend get some with one hole and some with 2 holes. Thinner juice for the single hole, thicker juice for the two hole

Know what size/length of carto that you need to buy. The Smoktek polypro tanks all use the XL size as both dual and single coils. Whether to use single or dual coils is a personal preference among vapors.
